HRH, Eze Cyril Ogbenna honoured to receive Igbo Ndi Oma Africa TV Award

HRH, Eze Cyril Ogbenna of Uzi Amizi Autonomous Community, Olokoro Clan, Umuahia-South LGA, Abia State, has expressed gratitude on the award conferred on him by the Igbo Ndi Oma Africa TV on Sunday, the 16th March, 2025.

The Award is in recognition of his outstanding contributions to society on humanitarian services to the oppressed and downtrodden.

Historically, the Igbo Ndi Oma Africa TV Award is an honor bestowed upon individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service, integrity, courage and professionalism in chosen career, advocacy or philanthropy.

Eze Ogbenna said the award will ignite the passion for greater services, urging other well-meaning Nigerians with the capacity to assist others to join the train of selfless service providers with what God has blessed them with.

He also used the occasion to commend the good works, and laudable projects being carried out by Abia State governor, Dr Alex Otti.

He said the state has become a construction site, in view of the massive projects of Dr. Otti.

The Award was presented by Prince Obinna Orji, initiator of the Award event, who lauded the virtues of Chief Ogbenna, describing him as a leader with a heart of gold, always willing to put smile on the faces of others..

The ceremony which took place at the palace ground of Chief Ogbenna was well attended not only by the Uzi Amizi Autonomous Community indigenes but by friends, well-wishers, business colleagues and other Royal Fathers that included:: HRH Eze Paul Chukwunyere Egwu (Onyeogara 1 of Dikeukwu Autonomous Community, Umuopara Umuahia South LGA, Abia State), HRM G. Ibeakanma, and HRH, Eze Ifeanacho, among others.

It was gathered that Eze Ogbenna, at a time was a musician and played the popular track “” Which Way Nigeria”” with late Sony Okosun.
He is known to be an advocate of justice, fairness and transparency.
